T-shirt Design Contest is closed and the shirts are cool! We will have just a handful of extras at the show for purchase if you didn't order them through Fairentry.com

Volunteers

We are still needing a lot of volunteers. Please sign up at
Each county is required to have a minimum of 1 adult for every 3 kids entered. Please sign up today to let your superintendents know you are there to help! Consider helping with a discipline your child is not participating in, that way you ensure you get to watch your own exhibitor!

Stalls and RV Spots

As stated in the contestant packet, you must contact Horseshoe park for your stall and RV reservations. Please call Jennifer at 480-358-3793.

Sponsorships

Sponsorships are very low this year. Although we do not have time to get sponsor logos on shirts, we can still get them in the program and on the announcements. Please continue to bring them in!

2017 Show Update!

We are actively looking for discipline superintendents! Please consider the following openings for yourself or someone you know. Our plan is to try to have two per discipline so there isn't so much to do for each discipline (and we can have one for Seniors/one for Juniors).

English (1-Junior, 1-Senior)
Western (1-Junior, 1-Senior)
Gymkhana (1-Junior, 1-Senior)
Sorting (1 combined)
Trail (filled)
Roping (filled)

Our youth members have put together a great starter list of needs/to-dos for each superintendent and they can partner with you throughout the process. We are here to support you!

Do you have another interest like....
-T-shirt contest Superintendent
-Family Fun Superintendent
Let us know! We can use all the help we can get! We have been fortunate enough to have a lot of outside of 4-H interest in helping our show as well. Let's all pitch in to make each year better for our kids!

Other goings on...
-our venue is set and we are confirming final details such as stall daily cost, RV reservations, etc. Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Center in Queen Creek is our location.
-Fair entry is being set up for online registration systems as prior years. You will be able to pay online again this year.
-we will be sending out the sponsorship forms early next week so everyone can start fundraising.
-the Volunteer Spot online system will be used again this year. Remember there must be at least one volunteer for any three participants from your county.

So, you may ask...WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR? Can't we register now? Some of our counties still have their final show of the year to determine their qualifiers. So, to some extent, we are in a hurry up and wait situation. Good luck to our kiddos who are still shooting to be qualifiers! We're cheering for you!

Stay tuned to this blog and our Facebook page AZ State 4-H Horse Show. We are looking forward to November 3-5!

No Superintendent Call 8.16.17

Hello friends!

There will be no Superintendent call this evening (8.16.17). We tried to start meetings a month early this year, but as a new Chair, I'm still figuring out the ropes. :) No worries though, we are on track!
